Silicone sealants are used to protect & seal anything from the smallest silicon chip to the world's tallest skyscrapers.
A silicone has excellent behavior in temperature (up to 300°C), and resists against ultraviolet rays.
It exists in non-corrosive formulations for metals (electronic application). It keeps its initial characteristics even in corrosive conditions. Silicones are available in 1 or 2 component formulation and they are moisture sensitive.
