Wide surfaces & high quality grades require uniform film thicknesses during the spray & a robust repeatable process through the production cycle.

Small to medium size skins with different quality grades require an efficient process where material is not wasted. High capacity & high transfer efficiency are a must in the spraying process.

Rotary machines are commonly used to spray leather skins on a flat conveyor. A high application speed, wide spray pattern, sufficient overlap, low maintenance for high capacity, and stable process are all required. 

Spray guns from different technologies are used on rotor arms to create a uniform film on the leather skins.

Guns from two separate technologies can be used on the same machine to allow various process applications for the different materials and/or layers used to apply them.

Low pressure with high transfer efficiency Airspray HPA (HVLP) technology is used on different layers from the 1st layers to primer, base coat & top coat.

Medium pressure with high transfer efficency AIRMIX® technology is used with AVX guns whenever possible based on the material & finishing aspect requested. This dramatically reduces the overspray inside the machine, lowers production costs, yields a material savings, and requires less cleaning.
