1R Proportional Material Regulator

The Autostream 1R System includes a proportional material regulator used as a pressure control device.

The output pressure of this pneumatically operated valve is adjusted by changing the control air pressure. The changes can be achieved by manual adjustments of the air pressure or by changing the strength of the electronic flow rate signal (0 to 10v DC or 0 to 4095 Dnet). The 1R System can dispense from 5cc to 55 gallons of material in one job.

Technologies

Swirl

Process by which compressed material dispenses from a nozzle with blowing air to form a spiral cord. Product spirals overlap as dispensed to form a thin film in the crash (set with doors).

LASD

Process by which the compressed material is dispensed allowing anti-vibration product pads to be applied in the form of wide striping for sound deadening purposes.

Bead

Process by which compressed material dispenses from a nozzle to form a cord. Used in engine sealing, gluing & mastic removal.

Droplets

Process by which compressed material dispenses from a nozzle to form a droplet. Material drops are positioned on hoods, doors & deck lids for anti-flutter bracket attachments.

Streaming

Process by which the compressed material is projected allowing an application a greater distance from the work piece.

Spraying

Process by which the compressed material is sprayed allowing an application a greater distance from the work piece. The width & amount of product dispensed depends on the nozzle type used.

MS Polymer Sealant

Silyl modified polymers (SMP, also silane-modified polymers, silane-terminated polymers) are polymers (large, chained molecules) terminating with a silyl (SiH3) group. SMPs are the main components in solvent-free & isocyanate-free sealant and adhesive products. Typically the sealant products manufactured with silyl modified polymers have good adhesion on a wide range of substrate materials, and have good temperature & UV resistance.
